Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Claims Adjuster I to join our team at EMPLOYERS. This is a remote opportunity based in New York, with a focus on managing complex workers' compensation claims. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in New York Work Comp Claims Adjusting and be licensed in NY. Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of complex workers' compensation claims.
• Analyze and interpret statutes and regulations to make appropriate legal decisions.
• Negotiate settlements and support supervisors as needed.
• Handle medical management, claim costs, and case litigation efficiently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of New York Work Comp Claims Adjusting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• AIC, ARM, or CPCU certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Pay Range

$55,000 - $85,000 (discussed on first interview) plus comprehensive benefits package.

Work Environment

• Remote role open to candidates in the United States without sponsorship.
• Requires a private and quiet workspace.
• Expected Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm ET.
• Travel may be required for off-site meetings.
