Job Description

The Server is the key Associate in delivering the Silver Diner brand to our guests. You are responsible for providing Silver Diner hospitality to our guests, generating sales, delivering food & beverage orders, and properly handling POS functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest receives outstanding service, including greeting within 30 seconds of being seated, and delivering orders correctly.
• Actively suggestively sell to every guest and have knowledge of all food & beverage specs.
• Ring in orders promptly and accurately account for guests at your tables in POS.
• Maintain a clean station, complete side work, and work collaboratively within a team.

Brand Delivery

• Maintain a positive, fun-oriented attitude and follow all uniform standards.
• Know and ensure the delivery of the Silver Diner brand.

Cost Balancing

• Properly manage sales, cash handling, and portioning of self-service items.

Other Duties & Tasks

• Perform additional duties as assigned by managers.

Performance Measures

• Achieve positive sales growth, ensure guest satisfaction, and develop excellent relationships with guests.

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience as a Server or Bartender preferred.
• Exceptional aptitude for guest service, excellent communication skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Physically able to perform job duties including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Physical Requirements

The work area includes food preparation, handling, and cleaning tasks. Candidates must be physically capable of meeting the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, standing, and tolerating various work conditions.
