Technician Shop Supervisor, Distribution Center

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Technician Shop Supervisor to join our team at Canon Solutions America, Inc. As a Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing workflow and a team that pre-installs Canon's hardware and software for customers in our Regional Distribution Center shop facilities. Your role will involve selecting, hiring, training, and developing technicians, addressing customer issues, managing inventory processes, and ensuring a high level of communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-installation of specific business system products and services.
• Select, hire, train, and develop Pre-Install Technicians.
• Resolve customer issues to achieve total satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to standards for new inventory, evaluation, and repair processes.
• Manage parts ordering and usage within the shop department.
• Promote a positive working environment that encourages employee effectiveness and fulfillment.

Requirements

• 5 years of related experience with management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Service management experience in the office technology industry.
• Expertise in Canon products and technologies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
