Job Description
We are hiring a Universal Banker at International State Bank of Raton. As a Universal Banker, you will be responsible for accurately completing financial transactions, opening accounts, handling teller transactions, informing customers about products and services, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns. Building trust-based relationships with customers, you will recommend financial solutions tailored to their needs, ensuring an excellent customer experience through onboarding, ongoing service, and referrals. Additionally, you will be responsible for business development and achieving client growth goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with day-to-day service requests, including complex customer inquiries, new accounts, and ongoing relationship needs.
- Perform transfers, loan payments, and wire transactions.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, supporting products such as online banking, mobile banking, and debit cards.
- Inform customers about all banking products and services, identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- Support the teller line and assist customers with transactions as needed.
- Meet or exceed sales, referral, individual, and branch targets.
- Maintain current knowledge of bank regulations and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Work Experience: 1+ years in sales, teller, new accounts, or loan processing.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; 10-Key by touch is preferable.
- Detail-oriented with decision-making capabilities.
- Preferred Skills: Prior teller/sales experience, strong attention to detail, ability to cross-sell based on customer needs, professional communication skills.
