We are seeking a diligent Wellness Services Specialist to join our team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at promoting wellness and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our members/patients.

Responsibilities

  • Be a positive role model to all members/patients.
  • Ensure recreation facilities are safe, clean, and equipment operates correctly.
  • Communicate directly with members to determine needs and interests, seeking support as needed.
  • Campaign to promote fitness, aquatics, recreation, youth, and cultural programs.
  • Handle point-of-sale transactions, billing payment drop-offs, and collect and record fees for snack/juice bar and pro shop.
  • Continuously rotate in assignments to monitor the pool deck, fitness floor, gym, and front desk.
  • Complete daily checklists to ensure all opening/mid-day/closing tasks are done, focusing on member safety.
  • Monitor the use of equipment within the Wellness/Coeur Center, supporting and re-directing usage as needed to ensure safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Preference given to applicants with current lifeguard certification, previous instructor experience, and current CPR certification and/or Fitness Certification.
  • Must have basic computer proficiency and demonstrated attendance history.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
