Job Description
The 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage of $21.50 per hour. In this role, you will efficiently select and receive incoming stock, relocate merchandise according to guidelines, load and unload shipments, participate in inventory counts, and maintain warehouse cleanliness. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing input to warehouse management, inspecting product quality, and achieving budgeted goals.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties and participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input to warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
- Inspect product, consult with warehouse management, and act and decide independently within the delegated area of responsibility.
- Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
- Follow ergonomic program and operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at ALDI.

Physical Requirements
Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse. Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, and safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
