Assistant Athletic Trainer

Job Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Athletic Trainer to join the sports medicine program at Goucher College. In this role, you will be responsible for providing athletic training services to the college's intercollegiate athletic teams. Your tasks will include offering coverage at practices and contests, implementing injury prevention programs, managing injuries, maintaining medical records, and organizing the athletic training room.

Essential Job Functions:

• 40% A. Provide athletic training coverage at practices and contests.
• 30% B. Assist in implementing the sports medicine program for intercollegiate athletics.
• 15% C. Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate insurance claims.
• 10% D. Organize and supervise the athletic training room.

Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field.

Preferred: Master's degree.

Professional Experience:

Required: BOC certified, Maryland licensed or eligible.

Preferred: 1 year of collegiate experience.

Pay Range:

$41,851.00-$49,237.00
