Job Description
We are hiring a Bartender / Server to join our team at Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing cocktails, taking food orders, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing exceptional service that aligns with our mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities
- Taking food and beverage orders.
- Inputting orders into the POS system.
- Delivering food and beverages.
- Appropriately handling cash and charges.
- Ensuring exceptional guest service.
- Ensuring a smooth and timely experience for all guests, providing exceptional customer service.
- Becoming a subject matter expert on menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Replenishing and preparing supplies.
Requirements
- Meeting the state’s age requirement for serving alcohol.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in a kitchen/service environment preferred.
- T.I.P.s or ServSafe Alcohol preferred. Training must be completed within 90 days of commencing employment unless the state requires earlier.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language.
- Being able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
