Bilingual Family Therapist (Spanish)

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Bilingual Family Therapist fluent in Spanish to join Evidence Based Associates in New York City. In this role, you will work closely with children, youth, and families, empowering them to create lasting positive behavioral changes. By utilizing the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model, you will collaborate with families, communities, and key stakeholders to implement effective interventions that address mental health, trauma, and substance abuse issues.

Salary

$60,568-$68,068 (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical treatment following the MST model and principles.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients and families to inform treatment.
• Engage with diverse clients and community agencies to facilitate change-oriented therapy.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development within the MST framework.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Ability to travel throughout New York City.

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience with pragmatic family therapies.
• Experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy with children and adults.
• Previous work providing therapy in community settings.
