Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) to join our team at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital. In this role, you will assist physicians in performing invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, maintaining a sterile field, and interpreting diagnostic data to support the physician's work. Additionally, you will contribute to education, training, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science, or equivalent training.
- Prior experience in radiology/diagnostic imaging preferred.
- Current license as a Radiographer and certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Location and Hours
This full-time position is based within 25 minutes of St. Louis, Missouri. The schedule entails 40 hours per week, working either 4-10-hour shifts or 3-12-hour shifts, with minimal on-call duties due to a dedicated call team.
