Critical Infrastructure Manager I

Job Description

We are looking for a Critical Infrastructure Manager I to join Flexential, where you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment at our data center(s). This role is crucial for maintaining a mission-critical uptime of 99.999% or higher and serving as a technical resource for various teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure 24x7 facility on-call availability.
• Manage data center operations to achieve 99.999% uptime.
• Support efforts to enhance regional operations.
• Maintain vendor relationships and adherence to company policies.
• Drive operational excellence and propose solutions for improvements.
• Conduct disaster recovery exercises and oversee equipment installation.
• Prepare facility performance reports and develop maintenance procedures.
• Provide training to operations staff and conduct facility tours.
• Configure equipment monitoring and perform other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of critical infrastructure experience with problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.
• Relevant military or trade background.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of data center experience with a focus on equipment operation.
• Strong management and technical skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, and lift weights.
• Keyboard usage and occasional travel.

Base pay range: $81,100.00 - $91,900.00
