Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cashier to join the team at McDowell Store located at 2665 N. Power Rd Mesa, Arizona. As a Cashier, you will play a fundamental role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining sales floor standards, and promoting a positive brand experience for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA).

Starting Pay: $14.50 / Hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities and process payments.
• Solicit cash donations from customers at checkout.
• Set prices for merchandise and maintain sales floor standards.
• Complete necessary closing procedures.
• Greet and assist customers, ensuring a positive experience.
• Stock merchandise and maintain a clean environment.
• Communicate announcements using available systems.
• Model Goodwill's core values - Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
• Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Pass background check and drug screen where applicable.
