Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I role at Flexential is a critical 24x7x365 position that involves providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. This role requires a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. Being able to represent Flexential in a professional and technical manner during interactions with customers and internal resources is essential.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Provide timely resolution and/or escalation of Facility and customer issues.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using Flexential ticketing system.
- Maintain professionalism and conduct while performing data center duties.
- Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
- Assist with physical and logical installations of Flexential services.
- Operate and Manage Badge Access Security System.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for providing excellent customer experiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- 1 year of experience in IT Support environment preferred.
- Network +, Security +, CCNA, Microsoft MCP, or MCSA certifications desired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to climb ladders, work in cold environments, maneuver pallet jacks, lift heavy objects, and install cabling.
Salary
Hiring Range: $18.41 - $20.00 per hour.
