Job Description
Children First Inc is seeking a dedicated Family Advocate to integrate parent and family engagement strategies into all systems and program services. As a Family Advocate, you will provide case management, referrals, and support services, while promoting parents as advocates for their children. This role involves fostering strong parent communication and involvement, acting as a liaison between classroom and home settings, and maintaining family and child-related records.
Education and Experience
- Minimum: Baccalaureate Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Two years of experience in family/social services or early childhood setting.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Specialized training in social services, health, or disabilities case management desired.
- Valid Driver's License, auto insurance, Criminal History Registry enrollment, Health Appraisal, and CPR Certification required.
