Janitor - FT

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Janitor to join our team at Stapley Store in Mesa, Arizona. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all. This role involves various cleaning duties, such as cleaning restrooms, floors, trash removal, stocking supplies, and following safety protocols.

Starting Pay: $14.50 / Hour

Key Responsibilities

• Notify leaders of necessary supplies and equipment for cleaning tasks.
• Protect company property by reporting any incidents of theft or damage.
• Assist in building maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure cleanliness of restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Perform floor cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Follow safety procedures for chemical cleaners and equipment.
• Handle bio-hazardous materials following safety guidelines.
• Report any team member injuries promptly.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.

• Complete any other assigned duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of janitorial or related experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
