Job Description

The Hartford is seeking a dedicated Leave Management Ability Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in investigating claims, determining eligibility for benefits, and facilitating the insured person's return to work. You will uphold our commitment to assisting our customers in rebuilding their lives after unexpected events while complying with corporate claim standards, statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and relay information relevant to leave management claims for internal and external customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service using professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, mathematical aptitude, and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Use business acumen and technical expertise to make ethical decisions, backed by analysis, experience, and judgment.
  • Maintain a dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience providing quality customer service.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology is a plus.

Compensation

The annualized base pay range for this role is $40,685 - $61,027. The Hartford offers a comprehensive compensation package including short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
