Job Description

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking Licensed Nurse Assistants (LNA) to join the team at Shep 3 North, a newly opened long-term care unit. As an LNA, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, including taking vital signs, responding to patient needs, and maintaining accurate medical records. Ideal candidates must demonstrate reliability, flexibility, compassion, and strong teamwork skills, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Performing personal care tasks such as bathing, mouth care, toileting, and skin care.
  • Assisting Registered Nurses in various patient care activities.
  • Participating in Electronic Medical Record documentation.
  • Maintaining a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

  • LNA licensure within the State of Vermont.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
