Job Description
We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Anderson County Detention Center in Anderson, SC. GENESYS Health Alliance is dedicated to providing quality healthcare services in correctional settings. As a compassionate LPN, you will play a crucial role in caring for detainees, administering medical treatments, and ensuring the well-being of individuals in our facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient treatments including blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring, and medication administration.
- Implement nursing care plans as directed by healthcare providers.
- Conduct initial and ongoing health screenings for detainees.
- Explain medical procedures and protocols to patients.
Requirements
- Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to work night shifts (7:30 pm - 7:00 am).
- Experience in correctional nursing preferred.
