Licensed Practical Nurse- Neurology Clinic in Rutledge Tower

Job Description

We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at MUSC Rutledge Tower Outpatient Neurology Clinic in South Carolina. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of healthcare professionals, assisting with patient assessments, procedures, and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, and document health history.
• Administer injections and assist with minor procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Coordinate patient care and treatment plans through communication and messaging.

Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed as an LPN in South Carolina or compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous experience as an LPN preferred.

Additional Considerations

• Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking.
• Physical capabilities to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various movements.
• Good vision, hearing, and stress management skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
