The University of Toledo Physicians is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic team. As an LPN, you will support and assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include performing clinical procedures, preparing patients for exams, documenting vital signs, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform clinical procedures under provider supervision.
• Prepare patients for exams and administer medications.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs.
• Communicate instructions clearly to patients.
• Maintain patient medical records and prescriptions.
• Perform lab testing and CLIA waived procedures.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and sterilized.
• Take phone messages and triage patient inquiries.
• Assist with specialized procedures as needed.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent with LPN diploma.
• Ohio State LPN license and CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of clinical care compliance and patient privacy.
