Position: Part-Time Janitorial Maintenance Technician

Company: Walla Walla Foundry

Walla Walla Foundry, a leading fine art fabricator, is seeking a Part-Time Janitorial Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves performing general custodial duties and scheduled maintenance tasks in an industrial setting.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week, swing shift schedule (2:30pm-6:30pm or 7:00pm-11:00pm).

Wages and Benefits

Starting wage: $17-$20 per hour, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, 401k, and more.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum assigned industrial areas.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, fixtures, etc.
• Replenish supplies, empty trash/recycle containers.
• Operate forklifts, clear walkways, maintain inventory, monitor emails.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years janitorial or maintenance experience.
• Safety-conscious with physical capabilities.
• Technology proficiency and clear communication skills.
• Reliable, independent, trustworthy, with forklift experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, operate foot controls, and work in various environmental conditions. PPE required.
