Job Description

The Member Experience Specialist (MES) at VASA Fitness is responsible for delivering an uplifting and meaningful experience to members and guests during every visit. This role includes greeting members in a friendly manner, building personal connections, addressing problems promptly, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the facility is clean. Additionally, MESs sell memberships, facilitate upgrades, and provide tours to guests and members.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a genuine, kind attitude when interacting with guests and members.
  • Greet guests and members with a smile, eye contact, and courteous tone.
  • Anticipate guest and member needs, providing clear direction, accurate information, and support.
  • Be familiar with membership plans, pricing, amenities, add-on options, and class formats.
  • Provide club tours, sell memberships, facilitate upgrades, and sign members up for personal training.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the guest and member experience by sharing feedback with leadership and collaborating with the team.
  • Execute daily responsibilities to high standards, following check-in processes, completing cleaning tasks, restocking merchandise, and processing sales.
