Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position in the Emergency Room requires a weekend commitment with day and night shifts. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients following Maryland Nurse Practice Act and organizational protocols. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care delivery, maintain clinical competency, and create a safe patient environment. Additionally, you will assess patient needs, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Services experience or 3-5 years of acute care experience preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications preferred.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing is a plus.
- Completion of orientation according to policy/procedures.
Unit Details
The Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features advanced technology, amenities, 29 private treatment rooms, negative pressure rooms, a behavioral health treatment pod, and a CT scanner for early diagnosis. The department is designed for personalized patient care in a modern and spacious environment.
