Unit Details: The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features 17,000 square feet of state-of-the-art design with technology and amenities for emergency care. Twenty-nine spacious, well-lit private treatment rooms are appointed throughout the space, with the providers’ station positioned front and center. Negative pressure rooms are located in the department for isolation of infectious diseases. The Emergency Department also includes a behavioral health treatment pod. A CT Scanner for early diagnosis is located within the department.
Job Summary:
The RN provides nursing care to patients in compliance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act. Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises plans of care. Collaborates with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to provide quality care delivery.
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State
- Minimum 2 years Nursing Experience in Emergency Services preferred
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications required
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred
