Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. As a technician, you will be responsible for utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and predict potential machine failures and minimize downtime effectively. Your role will involve collecting and analyzing data, utilizing various technologies for data gathering, submitting work orders for maintenance, and collaborating with maintenance planners to schedule repairs proactively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failures based on gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule proactive repairs.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform equipment maintenance tasks such as changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Recommend immediate equipment shutdown for critical repairs.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Participate in reliability and maintenance meetings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in daily data collection, analysis, and reporting in a manufacturing environment.
• Military experience will be considered.
• PDM certifications are a plus or willingness to obtain them.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis process.
