Project Manager-Mechanical Services

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee our Mechanical Services division at University Mechanical Contractors, Inc. This role involves managing the team responsible for estimating, selling, and delivering Service HVAC and/or Plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will streamline processes, enhance communication, and ensure profitability through effective project management.

Responsibilities

• Qualify or disqualify prospective customers and projects.
• Oversee project estimation, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Manage projects to meet margin and sales goals.
• Coordinate equipment/material purchases, permits, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations on job sites.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment start-up, and project acceptance.
• Manage warranty processes and service agreements.
• Document customer interactions in CRM.

Requirements

• High level of technical proficiency and understanding of HVAC functions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Leadership qualities and project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or five years of project management experience.
• Five to seven years of sales experience.
• Two to three years of sales leadership experience.
