Registered Nurse I- STICU/Burn

Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Nurse I to join our team at the STICU/Burn unit. As a Registered Nurse I, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care, utilizing the nursing process and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to deliver safe and effective care. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing nursing diagnoses, planning and implementing interventions, coordinating care, and evaluating patient outcomes. This role requires maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment while promoting professional practice and excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.

Physical and Mental Requirements

This position requires physical abilities such as standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, bending, twisting, lifting, and more. It also necessitates strong mental capabilities, the ability to handle stressful situations, and flexibility to work rotating shifts or overtime as needed.
