Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg unit at Porter Medical Center. Our Med/Surg floor operates in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care through evidence-based practices for individuals requiring advanced care.
Unit Description
The Med/Surg floor at PMC serves patients such as those with DKA and A-Fib who require progressive levels of care for a brief period but are not unstable or in need of ICU-level care. With a total of 17 rooms accommodating up to 25 patients, our floor includes private and semi-private rooms, with a dedicated end-of-life Arch Suite and rooms with negative pressure capabilities for isolation needs.

Not required.

Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
