Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Operating Room at Central Vermont Medical Center. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients, acting as a patient advocate, offering education and emotional support to patients and their families. The role includes delivering care in adherence to hospital policies, professional standards, physician orders, and established care plans. In addition, the Registered Nurse will oversee and support other nursing staff in their duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care following the Vermont Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and departmental procedures.
- Support the nursing department's philosophy, objectives, and goals.
- Implement the nursing process for patient care delivery.
- Work 80 hours per pay period.
- Maintain a current RN license to practice in Vermont.
- Preference for candidates with at least one year of nursing experience.
Incentives
A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for Full-Time positions with a 2-year commitment for candidates with at least one year of experience.
