Registered Nurse - Roswell Job Corps Center

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Roswell Job Corps Center. As part of our committed staff, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care and support to our students while upholding the highest standards of healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health evaluations for new students, including vital sign measurements, screenings, and specimen collection.
• Administer medication and monitor student well-being, reporting any adverse reactions promptly.
• Coordinate medical appointments and manage Chronic Care Management Plans for students with chronic illnesses.
• Serve as the acting Health and Wellness Director when necessary and support various center activities.
• Participate in staff training and fulfill other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

• High school graduate with a State RN license.
• Preferably one year of nursing experience, Job Corps experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in nursing techniques, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with students.
• Maintain CPR certification and operate office equipment as needed.

This position requires occasional independent work but mainly involves collaboration with the team and other departments.
