Security Officer - Roswell Job Corps Center

Job Description

We are looking for a Security Officer to join our team at the Roswell Job Corps Center. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the campus while providing excellent customer service to our students and staff members.

Responsibilities

• Transport students in company vehicle.
• Patrol assigned areas and remain vigilant for potential safety hazards.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors as needed.
• Maintain Student Accountability logs.
• Conduct building security checks and safety inspections.
• Investigate incidents and vehicular accidents on-site.
• Adhere to all center policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• Previous experience in security or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of law enforcement procedures is a plus.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• CPR/FA Certification required.

Environmental Demands

• Equipment operation.
• Occasional solitary work.
• Collaboration with team and other departments.
• Reading and writing at a college level.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $18.99
