Job Description
Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Hardware Development Engineer to join the AWS Server Engineering team. As a key member of the Server Hardware Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of cutting-edge server products in collaboration with various partners.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead the design and development of server products.
- Collaborate with customers to understand technical needs and business goals.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to bring servers to the data center.
- Monitor quality and performance of developed servers post-launch.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of hardware development experience with a focus on system/server development.
- In-depth expertise in server technologies such as Thermal/Mechanical design, high-speed bus design, server components, BIOS, and networking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in interdisciplinary team collaboration for product design.
- Startup experience and project management skills are a plus.
