Job Description
Join our Amazon Data Services, Inc. team as a Senior Hardware Development Engineer in AWS Server Engineering. You will play a crucial role in creating cutting-edge server products that power Amazon's web services. As part of our Hardware Engineering team, you will lead the design and development of server solutions, collaborating with various teams to deliver top-quality, scalable products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of server products in collaboration with design and manufacturing partners.
- Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and business objectives.
- Architect scalable solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry standards.
- Oversee product quality post-launch and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Continuously innovate and improve product performance, quality, and cost.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of hardware development experience in system/server architecture.
- Expertise in server technologies like Thermal/Mechanical design, high-speed bus design, and networking.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- Experience in full product design lifecycle from concept to production.
- Project management experience in technical projects.
- Startup experience and server validation skills are a plus.
