Senior OnBase Developer

Job Description

Join the prestigious Princeton University's central IT team as a talented Senior OnBase Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, developing, and integrating solutions on the OnBase by Hyland enterprise platform. Working both collaboratively with a team and independently, you will create, test, debug, migrate, and maintain solutions for campus users, offering first-level application support and implementing fixes as needed. This position also involves aiding the OnBase Administrator in administration tasks and validating new software releases.

Responsibilities

• Leverage OnBase API, C#, and/or VBScript to enhance solutions.
• Develop interfaces between OnBase and other applications using Hyland's Unity toolkit.
• Utilize native OnBase functionality including Workflow, WorkView, and Unity Forms.
• Prepare technical requirements and solution designs.
• Maintain and refine content management solutions for future requirements.
• Build reports using Hyland Report Services module or custom SQL scripts.
• Provide backup for OnBase application administration.
• Lead projects from development to production, serving as a solution analyst as needed.
• Build relationships with key campus users, team members, and OIT partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with 3+ years as a developer for enterprise content management software.
• Experience with SDLC methodology, ECM configuration, and setup.
• Familiarity with OnBase API, C#, VBScript, and SQL scripting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
