We are looking for a Substitute Instructor at the Roswell Job Corps Center to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. As an instructor, you will deliver instructions in designated subject areas, ensuring a positive and motivating classroom environment for students. Your responsibilities will include promoting discipline, establishing rapport with students, and utilizing available curriculum resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold the Company Core Values and operating principles.
• Promote a positive classroom atmosphere to maximize student motivation.
• Maintain discipline to ensure optimal learning.
• Build strong student-instructor relationships.
• Utilize curriculum resources efficiently.
• Maintain student personnel folders.
• Ensure compliance with attendance and accountability processes.
• Participate in required training sessions.
• Perform assigned duties effectively.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• State certification, license, or accreditation required.
• No teaching experience necessary if candidate has practical experience in the subject/trade area.
• Ability to transfer knowledge effectively to support learning objectives.
• Preferred: Extensive trade knowledge and teaching experience.
• Knowledge of instilling appropriate behavior and study habits in students.
• Ability to follow instructions in English fluently.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently: Standing, Sitting, Seeing, Hearing, Speaking. Occasionally: Walking, Bending, Stooping, Squatting, Flexibility. Seldom: Climbing, Lifting 50 pounds, Carrying, Kneeling, Pushing/Pulling, Running, Driving.
