Job Description

We are currently looking for a Substitute Residential Advisor to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. As a Substitute Residential Advisor, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and safe environment for residents in student housing. Your responsibilities will include providing daily supervision, informal counseling, documenting student records, preparing reports, facilitating life skills groups, conducting dorm meetings, ensuring cleanliness of facilities, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and assistance to students in various activities.
• Offer informal counseling and support to students facing personal challenges.
• Document student records and input relevant data into the system.
• Facilitate life skills groups and discussions for students.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of dormitory facilities and equipment.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in education or a related field working with students.
• Model company core values and possess a valid Driver's License.
• Preferred: B.A. or B.S. Degree in a behavioral health field.
• Ability to compose descriptive reports, implement programmatic activities, and intervene with students effectively.
