Join Flexential as an Account Executive specializing in colocation services. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our business strategy, responsible for presenting and selling Flexential's colocation products to potential customers within specific data centers. Your tasks will include prospecting, qualifying opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals, as well as providing valuable insights into market trends and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote Flexential's colocation products to prospective customers.
  • Generate leads and drive sales in targeted data centers.
  • Maintain sales activity to consistently fill the sales pipeline.
  • Close sales in alignment with monthly quotas.
  • Facilitate the complete sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to support the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for opportunity management.
  • Manage contracting for Flexential Master Service Agreements.
  • Conduct meetings with prospects via various channels.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with networking partners.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales with C-suite and departmental staff.
  • Proven success in team selling with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com for end-to-end sales management.
  • Self-motivated with adaptability to changing markets.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management tools.
  • Positive and resilient attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.
