Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious Account Executive to join our team at Flexential. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will play a crucial role in presenting and selling our colocation products and services to potential customers. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, pricing, negotiating, and closing deals. Additionally, you will provide valuable input on market trends and customer needs to contribute to our business strategies.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote and sell Flexential's colocation products and services.
  • Generate leads and develop new sales within targeted data centers.
  • Maintain sales activity to fill the forecast pipeline consistently.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas by closing deals effectively.
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts during the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage and document the sales process.
  • Manage contracting for Flexential Master Service Agreements.
  • Conduct meetings with business prospects to drive sales.
  • Cultivate relationships with networking partners and channel partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing sales processes with C-suite and departmental staff.
  • Track record of success in a team selling environment with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management software.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can adapt to market changes.
  • Experience with Salesforce and sales management software.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on winning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful acquisition sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.

Base pay range: $62,000 - $85,000 annually. Variable pay includes a discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
