Job Description

Flexential is seeking an ambitious Account Executive - Colocation to join our innovative team. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will play a crucial role in presenting and selling Flexential's colocation solutions to potential customers within specific data center locations. Your responsibilities will involve prospecting, qualifying leads, devising tailored solutions, pricing, negotiation, and ultimately closing deals. Additionally, you will provide valuable insights to the business on customer needs and market trends.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote Flexential's colocation products and services to potential clients.
  • Generate and develop new sales opportunities in targeted data center regions.
  • Maintain sales activities to ensure a healthy pipeline.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas.
  • Lead the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to support the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for opportunity management.
  • Manage the contracting process for service agreements.
  • Engage in meetings with prospects through various communication channels.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with networking partners and channel associates.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing sales processes with executive and departmental levels.
  • Proven success in team-based selling with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and contact management tools.
  • Self-driven with adaptability to evolving markets.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the tech sector.
