Job Description

Flexential is seeking a motivated Account Executive to join our team as a Data Center Specialist, Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for presenting and selling our colocation products to potential customers in targeted data centers. The Account Executive will play a vital role in driving our business strategy by prospecting, qualifying opportunities, designing tailored solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote Flexential's colocation products and services to new customers.
  • Generate leads and drive sales within a designated region.
  • Maintain sales activity to meet forecasted targets.
  • Close sales in alignment with monthly quotas.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to enhance the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for opportunity management and documentation.
  • Facilitate contracting activities for Master Service Agreements.
  • Engage with prospects through various communications channels.
  • Build and nurture relationships with networking partners and channel associates.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience engaging with C-suite and departmental-level stakeholders.
  • Proven success in team selling environments with Subject Matter Expert support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com for end-to-end sales process management.
  • Self-motivated individual with adaptability to changing market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management tools.
  • Positive and determined attitude towards achieving goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of successful acquisition sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.
