Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are looking for an Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure to oversee the maintenance and operation of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within our data center(s). The ideal candidate will lead a team of Critical Infrastructure Engineers, drive efficiency improvements, and ensure uptime targets are met. This position requires strategic leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Own overall operation and maintenance of mission-critical equipment.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to improve operational efficiency.
• Mentor and coach the team on best practices.
• Identify and implement improvements for operational and financial efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee disaster recovery exercises and facility performance reporting.
• Develop training material and conduct training for operations staff.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of management experience with direct reports.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications.
• Experience in data center operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods, walk or stand for 50% of the time, and lift 50lbs.
• Moderate or advanced keyboard usage and 10% travel.

Base Pay Range

Annualized salary range: $112,700 - $145,400
