Behavioral Health Nurse 2 (RN) - Relocation Offered

Job Description

Marion County is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse 2 (RN) to join our Adult Behavioral Health team. As a registered nurse in this role, you will provide direct nursing care to adults diagnosed with serious mental illnesses, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will include completing nursing assessments, administering injections, supporting psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, and coordinating care for individuals in service. Additionally, you will oversee Behavioral Health Nurses 1 and coordinate daily duties.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working in a team environment. The work schedule varies based on program needs but typically falls Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Requirements:

• Associate degree in nursing; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field with behavioral health nursing experience.
• Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Oregon.
• Minimum of four years of behavioral health nursing experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
• Ability to work under general supervision and lead a nursing staff.
