Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical 24x7x365 role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to both customers and resources. In this position, you will utilize your expertise in Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve Facility and customer issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain professionalism and adherence to data center protocols.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using the ticketing system.
- Follow data center policies and procedures diligently.
- Provide necessary access control and support for vendors and customers.
- Assist in physical and logical installations of services.
- Ensure cleanliness and security of the Data Center.
- Collaborate with the Critical Infrastructure Manager and local management as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in IT Support and relevant certifications.
- Minimum education requirement of AA, BS, or High School Diploma.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights, in cold temperatures, and handle heavy objects.
- Skills in cabling installation and use of equipment.
