Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

We are seeking a Data Center Operations Technician I to join our team at Flexential. This position is critical for providing physical and Level II technical support to both customers and internal resources in a 24x7x365 environment. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, performing installations, and ensuring adherence to data center policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of facility and customer issues.
• Maintain professionalism while executing data center duties.
• Troubleshoot and document technical problems.
• Follow support and data center policies.
• Assist with installations and maintain data center cleanliness.
• Support 24/7 operations and work varied shifts.
• Operate security systems and maintain inventory levels.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
• Self-motivated individual with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in an IT support environment preferred.
• Industry certifications like Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft MCP/MCSA a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and in cold environments.
• Capability to handle heavy objects and install cabling.
• Proficiency in using pallet jacks and climbing ladders.

Hourly Pay Range

The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $19.33 to $22.67, subject to candidate qualifications.
