Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is ideal for individuals knowledgeable in Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical support and ensure customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and adherence to data center policies.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while performing data center duties.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues using Flexential's ticketing system.
• Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
• Assist in physical and logical installations of Flexential services.
• Ensure cleanliness and security of the Data Center and surrounding areas.
• Perform Facilities Rounds and escalate pertinent information.
• Manage shipping/receiving for Customer and Flexential Deliveries.
• Other duties as required and assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for a great customer experience.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferably 1 year of IT Support experience.
• Network +, Security +, or CCNA certifications desired.
• Microsoft MCP or MCSA preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights, in cold temperatures, and lift heavy objects.
• Aptitude for cabling installation and maintenance.

Hourly Pay Range

The estimated hourly pay range for this role is $19.33 - $22.67, subject to candidate's experience and qualifications.
