Requirements
- Completion of ADA accredited dental program: DDS or DMD
- Active Idaho dental license
- BLS certification
- Certification through Drug Enforcement Agency and valid Idaho licenses
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality dental treatment to patients of all ages
- Provide leadership and direction to dental clinic staff
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality in patient recordkeeping
Primary Accountabilities
- Achieve results in patient care and clinic operations
- Maintain operational excellence and regulatory compliance
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, vendors, and clinic staff
- Demonstrate professionalism and uphold organizational values
Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule dental care visits effectively
- Perform various dental procedures with high skill
- Administer anesthetics and medications
- Interpret x-rays and lab studies
- Provide dental and oral health education to patients and families
- Participate in community dental programs
- Monitor and recommend dental equipment changes
- Participate in provider productivity standards development
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and conferences
- Supervise dental assistants and hygienists
- Support Senior Management decision-making
