Job Description
- Accurately diagnose, troubleshoot malfunctions, and provide quality repairs using proper diagnostic tools and critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
- Deliver productive results, demonstrate competency and accountability, and work independently with a high degree of accuracy.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area, focusing on efficiency and attention to detail.
- Resolve customer concerns by identifying problems and providing effective solutions, building trust, and fostering a collaborative teamwork environment.
- Participate in training to stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.
- Adhere to and promote company safety policies during all repair and maintenance tasks.
- Embrace a can-do attitude and tackle a wide variety of repairs with adaptability and precision.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a diesel technician working on Class 6-8 vehicles.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to pass background check and drug screening.
- Possess necessary tools to perform job responsibilities efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Class A CDL, Technical degree, A/C, Brake, and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications.
- Specialization in specific areas such as engine, drivetrain, or brakes.
