Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing industrial equipment availability by implementing preventive measures, maintaining critical spares, coordinating equipment servicing, and optimizing equipment uptime performance.

Responsibilities

• Update equipment listings and servicing requirements to maximize uptime.
• Secure critical spares to support production equipment uptime demand.
• Create and maintain complex Excel files with VBA scripting for spares tracking.
• Track and manage purchase orders for equipment spares.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for efficient preventive maintenance execution.
• Develop equipment health board to communicate overall performance.
• Assist in utilizing Thermography and vibration analysis for predictive maintenance.
• Contribute to facility project and maintenance budget development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA tools.
• Basic understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment components.
• Ability to read OEM drawings, BOM, and Electrical Schematics.

Desired Characteristics

• 3+ years' experience in Aerospace Assembly, Machine Shop, or Composites Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies and CAD design.
• Experience in Additive Manufacturing, inventory management, and Facility Mechanical/Electrical Systems.
• Familiarity with Machine Design and laser alignment techniques for equipment calibration.
