Head Tennis Professional, Adult Programming

Job Description

We are looking for a Head Tennis Professional to join the TPC Network team at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, GA. As a Head Tennis Professional, you will assist the Director of Tennis Operations in managing all aspects of the tennis operation, focusing on developing and implementing tennis programs for members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Sports Management preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of tennis court protocols, rules, and regulations.
• At least four years of previous tennis teaching experience.
• Certified through USPTA (Level P-2 or higher) or PTR (Level Instructor or higher).

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and conduct tennis programs for all ages and skill levels.
• Create promotional materials for program communication.
• Manage tennis shop operations and staff.
• Assist in budget development and cost controls.
• Oversee court maintenance and repairs.
• Market the club and conduct local surveys for competition evaluation.
• Handle member communications and merchandise sales.
• Operate Point of Sale system and maintain cleanliness of the tennis shop.
• Open and close tennis facilities following standard procedures.
• Manage special projects and additional duties as required.
