Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and coordinating actions to resolve issues. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure timely resolution of risk and customer-impacting issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate actions to resolve assigned Problems.
  • Monitor service level agreements and escalate issues for timely resolution.
  • Maintain problem inventory and progress status in ServiceNow.
  • Propose process improvements and mentor support specialists.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • 1+ years of risk management or people management experience.
